Wound Care

Wound care management services are provided to Assisted Living, Long-Term Care facilities, and in our Passaic office. In Long-Term care facilities, weekly wound rounds are conducted at the bedside with the facility wound nurse. All medical encounter documentations are MDS 3.0 compliant. Our Nurse Practitioners evaluate and manage all types of wounds and when necessary perform maintenance debridement. Our multi-specialty approach ensures cost savings for the facility by preventing the need for the resident to be transported to outside wound care clinics. Our NP’s also provide ongoing education for the nursing staff and keep open lines of communication between the resident, attending physician and family members. We are also available for consultations in our Passaic office.
