Medical-Legal Consulting Services

Our NP's provide care to residents in both sub-acute and long-term care settings, as well as in our Passaic office.

We deliver individualized services to each facility while working in collaboration with the medical staff, nursing staff and management team.

Wound Care

Wound care management services are provided to Assisted Living, Long-Term Care facilities, and in our Passaic office. In Long-Term care facilities, weekly wound rounds are conducted at the bedside with the facility wound nurse. All medical encounter documentations are MDS 3.0 compliant. Our Nurse Practitioners evaluate and manage all types of wounds and when necessary perform maintenance debridement. Our multi-specialty approach ensures cost savings for the facility by preventing the need for the resident to be transported to outside wound care clinics. Our NP’s also provide ongoing education for the nursing staff and keep open lines of communication between the resident, attending physician and family members.

Medical-Legal Consulting

Our wound care specialists provide non-testifying nursing and medical consulting services to attorneys who take medical malpractice cases for the plaintiff or for the defendant. Like physicians, nurse practicioners specialize in all areas of medicine. Our speciality is wound care. As nurse practioners we are in the unique position of understanding both medicine and nursing care as it relates to the prevention and treatment of wounds. We can screen a case for merit and assist with prelitigation and litigation. We can help the attorney to understand the clinical complexity and nuances of their case so they can build an air tight case to either settle or utilize to win at trial.
